Workman Township is interviewing a number of local citizens on the history of Workman Township and Lakeview Cemetery. John Grones, editor of the McGregor Vovageur Press is interviewing and compiling information on the township history.  When completed the history will be placed on the website.  Anyone with interesting stories about our township should contact John at 218 768-3405.

High Speed Broadband installation by SCI of Hinkley, Mn is nearly completed in our township.  Subscribers to the service appear to be very pleased with the SCI service.

October of last year we had the dedication of our veterans memorial at Lakeview Cemetery. One attendee and her family were so impressed that they volunteered to spend an afternoon at the cemetery cleaning headstones. We plant to post photos of the family hard at work. We sincerely thank them for their contribution.

Our cemetery is full of beautiful blooming flowers and we recommend you
take a drive and see for yourself before the frost hits.
