2024 MAT Scholarship Deadline is June 1
The Minnesota Association of Townships Scholarship Program awards up to FIVE $2,000 scholarships each year. All students currently enrolled in the 11th grade and attending a Minnesota public, private, parochial high school or a home-study program are eligible for this program. Winners will be chosen based on a written essay. All applications for the awards must be submitted by June 1st of each year; winners announced in September.
Along with the completed application and written essay, high school juniors of any public, private, or home-schooled students must submit:
A current high school transcript
A letter of recommendation from a high school teacher or counselor
All items must be submitted in one envelope and mailed to:

Postmarked by June 1, 2024
*Incomplete applications or applications postmarked after June 1st will not be accepted.
Winners will be notified in writing in September and will be invited to attend the MAT Annual Meeting to be held in December. Scholarship awards will be paid to the appropriate financial aid office upon completion of proper paperwork provided by the college, university, or technical school.
